Hi, some how IE won't open in a new window anymore.
And, it is related to my login only. ie, I can logn with another, and it works.
Using: W2K, IE6 sp1. But no major update has been done. (except for the Blaster patch)
So , what the h**l is going on.

i do suspect Opera, 'cause its working fiiiine:p

could be a version of the blaster worm floating about, the tell tale sign of that is the ie problem.

don't know if this will help, but try re gegistering the dlls

Quit the programs that are running

    windows key+r

    paste the following

    regsvr32 urlmon.dll

When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, repeat with the following files

Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)

Woho it works again. thanks all.
Out of laziness I only tried dealers suggestion. One of those dll wasn't registered properly.

But, since Opera 7.2 is working nice, i might use that one.

Hey jileiwin what besides the obvious does that bat file do? Does it change back any custom settings the user has made or does it only do things that can't be seen?

It is supposed to only do things that can not be seen.
