My mother called me today wanting to get a LCD monitor. Now i am left with the decision to order from a place like pricewatch or go pick one up from local best buy / circuit city.

The prices are almost the same if you factor in shipping and what not. The only thing is I am not in a big hurry because I have to wait for her hard drive to come in before I can even fix her PC. What would you do in this situation, order online or just go pick up from local store. (we are having tax free weekend for all the school kids so time is somewhat important)

    Thanks,
    mooo

EDIT: she doesn't need anything super nice, she only uses PC to read emails and all that good stuff. Wants the LCD because the CRT i gave her is messing up her wooden desk and making it bend from the weight i guess.

pop down to the local store
any LCD you pick up these days is just fine for buisness like work. You only need to look at specialist places for gaming targeted panels.
