For Pro's CubaseSX is the leader, nothing can touch it, Sonar XL and Logic Platinum are also good, although Logic is no longer supported on the Windows Platform.
Reason is not really for beginners although it is extremely good and contains everything your likely to need.
Best thing to do is Download some demos and decide for yourself.
The more powerful the application is the more resources it will take up on your PC, so if you intend on using stuff like Reason, CubaseSX etc, make sure you PC can handle it.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
