I've got an emachines T3624 desktop that currently has 2 256 meg DDR PC2700 sticks in it. The specs say that it can go up to 2 gig (2 1 gig sticks). When I put in 1 1Gig PC2700 DDR stick, the red light on the inside stays lit and it won't boot. I've made sure it's seeded and clicked into place.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I found that I had that problem once.

The company bought a e-machines without my permission. It died. I was sad. Or I had gas, can't remember.
