I had today some mayor problems with media players and codecs my question is what is the best video player and what codecs do i need to watch mpeg's, avi's, and so on.
Despite all the bad press (and if you're not too concerned about privacy) Windows Media Player isn't all that bad, plus it will download a lot of needed codecs automatically from the Internet, if you're connected.
For viewing AVIs you'll probably need the DivX codecs - just do a search on Google for "DivX" and you'll find tons of sites to download this free.
My personal favourite is the Zoom Player from Imatrix. Low RAM overheads and works like a charm.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
