Lost Admin Password XP Pro

Hi all,

How can I recover my sons lost admin password? Any programs and advice would be appreciated. That kid! Just cleaned up the nimda mess now this!

He is currently logged on as Mark which does NOT have administrative right set.

ok i don't know that you can recover that adminestrator account or its passwords but you can create a new one. i don't know if any of the xp updates fixed it though. provided they haven't you should be able to restart your computer and press f8 until options appear select log in to safe mode safe mode should boot directly into the default adminestrator account if one was setup during the xp install. now you can't see the password of this account but you can create another admin account from it. create your new admin account restart regularly and enter the account

make the floppy and boot from it, you will be able to reset any account password in no time.

select local users and groups
users
right click admin
set password
change password

simple.
