Logon Background Help Please

  1. Hello!

A quick question that I haven't been able to find an answer for anywhere . . .

I just created my first Logon screen using Resource Hacker as per the instructions listed on this site. Everything worked fine, except that I can't seem to get my background file to cover the whole sreen (or at least the big central panel). It's just showing up as a small square in the upper left of the central panel.

When creating the logon, I was a bit confused by the instructions about this - it said to save it as a photoshop file (which I did), and it didn't show up at all. So, then I saved it as a bitmap and put it into the 100 file using the "action" function in RH. After that, it shows up as described above.

Any suggestions as to what I've done wrong (or neglected to do), and how to get the background to cover the entire screen?

    Thanks in advance,

    HebBlack

  3. Dragon Eye,

Thanks for the tip, but I couldn't find anything there regarding my specific problem. So if you (or anyone else out there) have a suggestion for me, I'm still looking!

BTW, tweaksxp is the .com. And there is a bunch of cool stuff there, so I enjoyed the site even though I didn't find a solution.

    :)
