A group of hackers are working on getting Linux working with the iPhone. So far they've ported the Linux 2.6 kernel to the iPhone. If you like hacking your iPhone you can try adding Linux to your iPhone.

Right now this is pointless because WiFi, touchscreen, baseband, and sound don't even work on it but it's still interesting that another operating system is running on the iPhone. It opens up a lot of possibilites! I wonder if Android can be ported over to the iPhone.
