    see if you can salvage any parts....doubt everything got fried see what works and what dont then go from there.

    Ahhh I had same prob, now I got 2 surgemasters, had a lightning storm blew my pc away lol, claimed from a PII 266 to a PIII 1GhZ :D

    Insurance Mate is the answer :cool:

    went over
    opened it up
    toook off the heat sink
    shinnied up the cpu a bit wid my SHIRT
    LOL
    plugged it back in after puttin the hsf back on
    n its all good :D
    NOW THATS WHAT U CALL A TECHNITION :D
    i dun even knw if i spelt tha rite :confused: LOL...oh wellssss
    its workin
