Just have a look around the manufacturers website, they might have a flash update to v.92. Does your ISP support v.92? It's not that much different anyway.
As jumpy said, you would need to check the manufacturer's website for a firmware update.
I haven't used a 56k modem in the longest time, but with v.92 and software like NetWaiting, you can receive telephone calls on the same phone line, and choose to accept them while your internet connection is put on hold. Without v.92 the caller will either get a busy tone, or you will be disconnected from the internet if you choose to accept an incoming phonecall. Of course, your ISP has to support v.92 for all of this to work.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
