This is from Dealer:
as far as your info on incredimail
no...
first, we are talking about free mail clients
adware is not free...you pay the price of intrusion, and the price of your bandwidth.
and no, there are tons of programs that are released for nothing but the price of good will...there are lots of us with good will as our reward...(see my great free programs thead...hundreds of add free totally free and usefull programs)
now, I don't mind companies paying their way through adds, but the program is not free IF IT IS ADD BASED, and it doesn't belong on a free program thread.
as far as incredimail
INCREDIMAIL HAS THE MOST INTRUSIVE EULA OF ANY PROGRAM I HAVE EVER SEEN.
they actually claim to own all work that their program is involved with...this includes incoming.
in addition, the program is almost impossible to remove, and continues to use resources even after you use the uninstall.
further, it doesn't try to access the internet for a few days, giving you a sense of security, and hoping you will allow it through your firewall permanently before it accesses the internet.
in addition, closing the program does not close the program.
in order to close the program, you have to do it through the system tray
DO NOT INSTALL INCREDIMAIL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
