I have 5 PCs at home (some with XP on), and would like to connect them all to the net. They're already networked via a hub.
Would ICS be sufficient for proper net access for all the PCs, which means any program will work inluding messengers and file sharing programs without SOCKS support, and from any machine? Or would I need a router?
I really don't want to get a router though (cost ), so software solutions would be fine as well (not proxy software though, I've tried that and many programs don't work, though most of what I need does).
