My system is a AMD900 Athlon on a Abit KT7A Raid v1 MB.
I have 256 pc133 memory.
VIA apollo KT133A chipset.
BIOS Vendor: Award Software International, Inc.
BIOS Version: VT8371 - 42302e31
BIOS Release Date: 07/11/01
BIOS Charasteristics: Plug and Play, Flash, AGP
My Bios AGP apeture is set at 128meg.
I have a Creativelabs 128mg GEForce Ti4400
My driver is
Display Driver: nv4_disp.dll
Display Driver Version: 6.13.10.2832

When I run 3DMark2001 in 1024 x 768 x 32bit, no FSAA, dbl buffered, pure hardware T&L I get a score of 5875.
This seems VERY low to me! any ideas on what I can do to improve performance?

windows xp comes with 4.33. you can get the latest from www.viaarena.com

just to let you know, new nvidia drivers are out too... but they won't do much for your score.

to be honest, i would definitely think about getting a faster processor. with a monster video card like that, your cpu is the bottleneck. 3dmark2001 was made to put some strain on the cpu like a normal game would so it affects your score. games nowadays have HUGE and advanced AI's which require lots of cpu muscle to calculate everything.

for instance, when i had my 800mhz processor and play dungeon seige, i'd get about 10fps in town... and once i upgraded to a 1.4ghz processor, i get about 25fps in the same area. same video card and everything.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
