IE not savings gifs as gifs...

Whenever I try to save an animated gif in IE it tries to save it as a bmp. My temp files are cleared, history etc... I tried all 3 articles from MS but no avail. I rarley use IE, only @ work.

Any suggestions?

just curious did cleaning up the temp internet folder fix that problem?

No, I said that I tried the MS "fixes". They did not help at all. Neither did clearing the temp files.

You try those fixes and see if it works:

maybe do a hard drive cleanup thinger, you never know, or get a different browser

did you try the hard drive cleanup?

Maybe goto the Temp Internet Files and manually remove the folders in there

No I havent tried that yet, I will try deleting the index file. This is why I use Mozilla anywhere else...
