IE 6 problems

  1. Hello again.. Ok, I'm having this weird problem with IE6. I have the latest SP1 and I don't think it's because of that, but the problems I'm having is that every time I try to view something that might be in DHTML or Java, my browser goes away. It just shuts down, and I open up a new browser and it does the same thing or certain sites that seem to run some sort of scripts. I changed all the settings back to default, and reran the XP pro that I had to try and correct the problem, but it's still there. My other browsers do not do this.. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance all
    Cheers
    Mike

Only thing I can think of is to try repairing IE.

OR! rather than reformatting you computer just so taht you can use an inferior web browser.

Download Mozilla and use its far superior rendering engine. It is standards compliant and less likely to die a horrible IE death caused by security issues and general MS bugs.
