They finally switched my internet over to comast. I noticed a difference in speed and did a test . My speeds reported me at 10 meg down and 768 up !! With adelphia I had 6 meg down and 384 up .. Man I love comcast.

I wonder if getting the powerbooster would make it better ??? Lol ..

I'll give it time, Vanquished. I am sure at some point I will start to dislike comcast. Probably when they FINALLY get fios in my area .. :)

There are tons of threads out there for people saying they love/hate Comcast. Try to form your own opinions based on your own experiences.

I personally have had it for near 10 years now and love it. IMO, PowerBoost = waste of moolah.

Not really sure honestly, but if it's something you have to pay for I wouldn't bother.

I've been on COMCAST for 5 years (ever since it has been available in this area). Was warned they'd have "teeth cutting problems" - they still do from time to time. I had to go back on dial-up (free AOL trial) after Katrina and no matter how bad COMCAST is at times - I'm basically happy with it!

To each their own and I honestly believe a lot of satisfaction or dissatisfaction is generated by the local office and their management/maintenance staff! You got to make up your own mind what is best for you!
