How to Remove Patin-Couffin?

    I am going ****ing mad trying to remove this god damn program, does anyone know how to get rid of it?

    Why? It contains drivers required to use DVD43.

    because it was messing up my dvd drive.

    anyway i finally managed to get rid of it.

    Oh, now I found out. I found a bunch of links on it messing up DVD drives but none on removal.

    There have been a couple of defective releases of Patin-Couffin. CDfreaks has some threads where they say which one to upgrade to to get past the problems.

    2.9.6.0 and 2.9.3.5 are reported as stable. Earlier and latter releases are problematic.

    Thats for getting around copy protections right ? Which means it leads to pirated dvd's

    No, that leads to legal backups of expensive, highly vulnerable media you paid for with your hard earned money.

    Data backup has been a corner stone of good computing practices for over 40 years.
