I seem to have a little trouble trying to add an image file in with my sig.

I keep getting the little white box with the red x, as have others.
    How do I fix this?

    Thanks in advanced.

For below here go into your user cp & find the box where it goes. Then do this> [img*]web site.jpg[/img*] without the *. For the avatar I think you have to wait till you get to 10 posts.

also note that some hosts (yahoo geocities for example) do not allow direct linking to files on their servers

Is that true? Because my sig is on geocities and my sig always loads in the forum, or can noone else see my sig?

There are plenty of smaller webhosts that can host signatures ... I'd do it myself but would ge tbored handling submissions ;)
