HDD setup

I'm in the process of re-installing XP, and I was wondering if my setup was good or bad for my two 40Gb harddisks (both master).

disk1 c: - system files and programs (20Gb)
disk1 e: - games (20Gb)
disk2 d: - cache , pagefile & internet files (2.5Gb)
disk2 f: - Files, docs, pics, music etc (37Gb)

Can you think of a better configuration, or changes I should make to improve ??

Cheers

you can add D to C , i'll do if i were you , looks ok in other words :)

The only other thing I could think of would be to make sure that your pagefile is on the fastest of the two hard drives... of course, if they are both 7200's than i suppose its irrelevant..also, i believe M$ recommends that you place the pagefile not only on the fastest hard drive.... but to also connect that hard drive as the master on your primary IDE controller.. (usually IDE controller 0) as opposed to 1 or 2.

thats my two cents too...

good luck!:D

Yeah I thought about that Tumbras, its ok though, cos both drives are masters & 7200 udma-6. fast&furious!! lol :D

New steup is:

drive1~~ c: - System Files (25gb)
drive2~~ d: - temp internet & fixed pagefile (2.5gb)
drive1~~ e: - temp (2gb)
drive2~~ f: - storage, music etc (37gb)
drive1~~ g: - games (13gb)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
