    HUGE Company

I don't know if you realize how BIG this company is.
    They own Panasonic
    They own Quasar
    They own Technics
    They own National
They also make hosts of parts and equipment under the M name.
In fact, they have 304 consolidated companies!

In fiscal year 2002, they did 51 billion dollars (USD) worth of business.

they were one of the largest (And still are) companies in japan during the 2nd world war... they actually were asked to and did fund a large number of operations as well as providing technical know-how :)

I believe the brand National comes from matsus!ta as well ... back in the day all my stuff was national :) long lasting.durable and very very snazzy gadgets :)

[edit] sry didn't see that in your post ironguy :) [/edit]

I think all the FD drives I have are by them, and perhaps an older optical drive.
