I have a GeForce 4 MX420 that has an S-Video In... I want to capture video from my vcr. I have a 25 foot s-video cable running from my card to my vcr with an S-Video to RCA adapter in my vcr... Now i want to know how i can capture video... Movie Maker wont capture cuz it cant detect a device... Im wondering what to do now...

I just figured out the GeForce 4 cards have S-Video OUT not IN like i thought... I'll have to buy a TV IN card (I saw a cheapie one that should serve its purpose for 30 bucks on outpost.com) to get video ONTO my computer but this is pretty cool... I can download movies off of kazaa and transfer them to videotape now :)

yeah, all (well, a vast majority) gf4's have video-out. one with VIVO have video-in as well. :)

VIVO = (Video In, Video Out)
