Ftp Server?

    okay i want some one to tell me how to make my ftp server work. i am behind a server on a lan and so thats the problem.

    I dunno but since you have posted your IP I am sure a lot of people will try to connect, maybe some you don't want trying to connect... thats where MADMATT the police man from another dimension comes in... KEEP HACKERS AT BAY... DON'T GIVE YOUR IP OUT.. :)

    you are not running any ghost software that displays your ip as being different from what it actually is are you ?
     
  3. If you set up a server correctly, using appropriate safeguards, there is no chance of anything being compromised.

    So what exactly is the problem you are having??/
    What kind of lan are you on??

    Router????
    ftp software???

    those sorts of things will help.

    If you are behind a router you must map through ports 20-21 to your FTP server computer.
