Does anybody know of any software which is compatible with Vista. I always use Ipswich WS-FTP Pro.

It always suprises me that people still use ws-ftp. there are far better applications out there now that are free or inexpensive.

If you have a license of WS_FTP Pro 2007, you are eligible for a version that runs on Vista and 64-bit OS's. Please contact Technical Support and for faster service, have your Serial Number available.

Filezilla for me too - just a personal pref. I too started out with WS-ftp and since those days have used many but prefer Filezilla now since I can use it on all my boxen and not have to remember what to use on each...

Mecham, I contacted Ipswitch for the compatible version. After obtaining it I installed it on my Vista test box. Installation went fine. However, upon running it the "Program Compatibility Assistant" opens up with a "known compatibility issue". Checking for a solution reveals nothing. But, checking the "don't show again" box and running the application works. File downloads and uploads work perfectly.

Contact Ipswitch and they will give you the information that you need.
