Just thought it worth a mention
Thanks for the info Speedy
No problem, I'd actually just finished downloading the (627mb) 4.6 .iso on my 56k when this was announced
Typical isn't it
You can tell im randomly browsing stuff now....
(Related) Open BSD 3.2 will be released on November 1st, pre-orders have started to be taken at www.openbsd.org
and just for info's sake, NetBSD is on version 1.6
Hehe ... the typical 56k woes.
It's a good job I know people with dsl (of course I do...everyone has it but me )
A mate has downloaded the 4.7 .iso for me
Prices are $39.95 for the 4 cd set and $59.95 for the DVD edition
Of course if you're not willing to pay for it, you can download it from the site/ftp
Woop, got the 4.7 Release .iso burned and ready to go off a mate last night.
I should get round to installing it tommorow, and then of course getting ppp to work with PAP auth etc ... such fun
