Hi. I have not been able to resolve this problem by any other means.
Running XP Pro. I install the OS, without any problems. During the process of installing my other software, various MS apps and various 3rd party apps after the required reboot I get a message in the bottom right corner "Windows XP Professional. For testing purposes only.Build 2600.xpsp1.020828-1920(service pack1).
First thought it the legit key that i am using is not legit... It is a corporate key that is used successfully with other guys. they key is legit and I am uable to upgrade to SP1 and to SP1a without any problems. I have spoke to MS and they said I should re-pair the installation. this does not work.
The key is legit. and the problem is annoying above all else.
Any suggestions would help
