    Hi all,

    please help!!

When surfing the net frequently downloading pictures and stuff I have experienced a major problem after installing XP. All pictures are default converted to bmp.

How do I get around this problem?

    Best regards

Copenhagen, Denmark has an excellent tool called Paintshop Pro 7.
This application can pertty much convert any format to any other format, and naturally, is 100% compatible with WindowsXP.

Have you tried renaming it before you save?...

"###.jpg" instead of "###.bmp" I use an old graphic program that won't give me the option but doing it that will save as a jpg...

    I found the solution

    I finally found the solution!!

I have installed Netscape 6.2 prepared for XP and guess what: everything works fine with Netscape.

I also found out that the problem has been acknowledged by Microsoft as an error in IE6 and they will probably have it fixed with the SP1 due later this month.
