    Hi Guys,

In my Task Manager, I have a "Explorer.EXE" listed. Shouldn't it be "explorer.exe" I have done the spybot, highjackthis, AVG scans to no avail. I stopped the process and retyped "explorer.exe" and it restarts the process as "Explorer.EXE". I don't think that this is right.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks, perris.

I continued searching and I do have a trojan named "Java/ByteVerify". AVG scanned and picked it up. Manual deleting was necessary. It is back to "explorer.exe" in the Task Manager now. Now, I need to figure out how to get my booting up back to speed.

    Thanks again.

AVG is a great FREE antivirus software. It's rated as one of the best available. The free version differs only from the paid version by being able to have a little more control over scheduled scans (the free version scans every day at a specified time). Other than that, it's great, even has Outlook and Lotus Notes scanning plugins. Get it here.

You're not going to get better than AVG if you dont want to pay anyone.

If you do get the urge to pay someone, pay Kaspersky Labs as they currently have the best scanning & removal engine on earth

Well I have Norton Antivirus anyways, and I did a restart, and now it seems to be normal. So problem fixed!
