Ok, here's the deal. First off...damn this has been a while since a post *weeps for ntfs...* Secondly, I'm trying to install Ubuntu onto my system. I have the disk. Just got it in with about 100 other free copies I requested hehe. I reboot the system and set to boot with cd it goes through a series of checks and loads. I get past the cpu check and get to the dreaded "ESR value before enabling vector: 00000002" Pisses me off. I've looked through google and can't find anything about how to fix it other than other people have the same problem. I've got PLENTY of room for it, no I ask of you all, What in the hell am I supposed to do? I'm runnin an old K7VMM board with athlon xp 1900+ <junk I know> 756 of ram and 120 gb hd. What's the deal? And how do I fix it...
