Encarta 2006 - great ..

    Just received my dvd with the new Encarta 2006 .. well .. it's great ( interface looks strange ) but contains all you need to know about .. let's say .. normal life :p . Attached some pics for curious persons ..

    well .. we should consider that .. but those buttons are "too far" ( looks strange and a bit unfinished' let's say :D )
    compared to latest vista builds ..

    Was always a great program, but not really needed anymore. There are many sites or "one site" that offers most of the things offered in Encarta.

    Still, nice to see.

    The 'Net is flooded with information that I bet a program like this would be a lot easier and more convienent.

    Ah, Encarta. Fond memories. I used it quite a bit for projects back when I was in school. It was a great resource, especially when the internet wasn't as ubiquitous as it is now. :)

    I remember using 95' & 98' on an ancient IBM laptop back when wireless was unexistent and the internet was via phone line and not readily avaliable - great resource.

    There was that maze game that came with 98', does anyone know what I'm talking about? I played it so much!
