:( I think someone's been able to access my e-mail address because I keep on getting these "undeliverable" messages in my inbox about such and such messages I supposedly sent.

What do I do? I use MSN/Hotmail as my e-mail program thing and I've already sent Hotmail an e-mail saying that there's been a compromisation (is that a word?) and I've also changed my password on the account. Is that even enough?

*sigh* Just what I need... my good e-mail name being dragged through the mud (because a lot of the mail that's being sent is porn/SPAM-related, which really ticks me off because I HATE that kind of stuff). Help! Please!

That really sucks. I think e-mailing Hotmail and changing your password should be enough. Let us know what Hotmail says.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for their reply. I was also getting e-mails indicating the same was happening to my school e-mail address, which is odd, since the last time I accessed that was about 2 1/2 to 3 months ago. I have all my school e-mail forwarded to my MSN account. I e-mailed my school and complained about what was happening and they said that it was the Klez virus. Here's the link that describes what it is in more detail:

I've already scanned my system and it says that it's clean, so I don't know what else to do. I e-mailed my school back and asked if I'm still at risk, so I'm gonna wait for their reply. :( It's stuff like this that makes me not like the Internet very much.

Thanks, Jewelzz. :) But yeah, it looks like I'm okay for now, I just want that little bit of extra confirmation. I'm so anal when it comes to these kinds of things... *sigh*
