Right now DVDXCOPY is about the only program that will do it all for you, as the legality of it is questionable, which last i heard, the courts were in the process of deciding. I have found a few alternatives.

DVD2ONE - I'm pretty sure this one will only copy the main movie.

    Pinnacle InstantCopy

The pinnacle hasn't been released yet, but could prove promising b/c it will allow you to copy the entire dvd with all it's menus and extras.

From what I've read, both take a dual layer dvd and reencode the data so that it fits on a single layer recordable dvd.

im sure you can rip the language you want and not all the others, inc subtitles etc to keep the file size down enough to fit on a single sided DVD R
