i heard that durons can withstand higher temps than athlons... so you might be safe up to 55-60. of course, it's not good practice to let it get that hot, though. }:>
I have built 27 computers with a retail 1.3 ghz and they all run around 44c idle and will reach 50c after hours of continuous benchmarking. No problems with them at all.
One of my customers had lightning hit his thru his modem and it blew the modem and heated the cpu up to 80c for about 2hrs before anyone noticed it. I put a new modem in and it still runs fine. Lucky
