Saw that in Maximum PC, but it said you could not buy it in stores, it had to come in a computer package. The one I saw was a 6600GT though I believe, but looked just like that.
Either way, it's supposed to give the power of SLI in a single slot. Too bad you can't SLI two of those :dead:
You won't need central heating if you have one of those
You don't with most x86 based computers anyway
So when you getting one EP? I know you can't resist
Hmmm this looks like the Gigabyte version I saw a month or 2 ago:
Too bad it only works on Gigabytes card unless others are building mobos to support it... Anyone? Beueler?
Yeah, Asus are on the go now too.
which makes me think there was a reference board anyway.
Oh MY! I have an Asus Mobo.... I migth have to upgrade to one of these bad boys if this is true...
Remind me how this works please someone.
Can you use it on a normal PCI-e slot, or do you still need a SLi mobo??
I'm not good at PCI-x yet, but perhaps it will be available as both AGP and PCI-X don't see a reason why you would need two PCI-X slots for one device.
I dont know about this one. But gigabytes worked in regular PCI-e slot, and because its dual-core you CANT use it in a typical SLI configuration...
It still has great performance for the overall price difference between SLI and a dual cor card
