DTS file and AC3 filter

    A friends gave me a disc with some DTS encoded music files..
    I tryed to use it with Winamp 5.03 and I hear only noice..
    I thought i need an AC3 plugin and I downloaded "winampac3_0_60b" installed but still i hear only noice....

    Someone ? :(

    hmm i think it was www.doom9.org that has info on how to decode it.
    if its a dts disc like a theater disc then you have to force crack it or something which i don't think many people know how..

    You will need a hardware decoder. I have run into this problem myself and banged my head against a wall many an hour. There is no way around it...

    1) Try opening with dvd playback software
    2) Try foobar2000

    Maybe I will burn it and hope the dvd player will read it !

    I you burn it, you have author a dvd with a dummy mpeg2 file.

    Too hard, I just wanted to hear a quality music, I erased the files, I will stay with 192 KBP/S Mp3's.
