I believe this is default in Windows 7

See the attached image. I did something and the shortcut or whatever it was for Downloads, and I believe Desktop is gone. How do I get it back?

That is for the Favorites and does nothing.

Downloads and Desktop is normally underneath Favorites, am I correct?

All you have to do is click on the address bar and select desktop.
You should now be at the desktop as your location so now just right-click favorites category and select add current location to favorites.
Do the same for Downloads or whatever other folder you want.

The favorite links are just that favorite links. Click on the favorites at the top and it will take you to the page where you can add the links ..

That is not how it is done default, but will work. Though when I did that, Downloads and Desktop have a (2) beside it, like its a second named file. Whats the deal with that?

*edit, thats what happened some how, they were hidden (i keep files hidden for clean showing), so fixed. Thanks
