.doc to .pdf for free???

    I have to print a .doc on a comp that doesn't have word. Any way to make it into a pdf for free so I can print it...

    urgent help needed but I understand patience is a virtue :)

  4. you can just open it with the word editor that comes with windows when you install it, i forgot what it's called, i think it's word perfect

    No, Word Perfect doesn't come with Windows.

    Actually I didn't read the original question properly :p I thought you meant that you wanted to convert a .doc into a .pdf from Word. But you don't have Word.

    Instead, try opening the document with Word Viewer, you can print with that. Download Word Viewer 2003

    You can just change the extension from .doc to .pdf :p

    uh, copy the .doc file to the floppy, then open it on a PC with Word installed and print it?

    It'll be easier just to change the extension... assuming all local machines don't have word.
