I had these problems running the Detonator 4xx drivers, 3d games crashing to the taksbar, DXDIAG saying I pressed a key to abort, til I found a fix for them, now my PC works fine.

i dont have the 40xxx drivers installed.
where is this fix? tho?

if u dont have the 40 drivers, the fix wont work, but anyway...here's the thread i started a while ago.

im using the 30.81 now and have the problem and with the 40.XX i have the problem 2 and the fix doesnt fix it.

Any other suggestion. BTW thanks for finally reading this thread

Yeah!!!!!!!!! I fixed the problem. I reinstalled directX and now all my games work perfect.
