I'm after a camera & came across this one. How does it stack up.

    Kodak 3600
    2.1 mega pixel photo resolution
fully automatic 2x optical plus 3x digital zoom
    30 second digital movie capture
    1.8" LCD monitor
camera dock for one touch download
    auto recharger

    What's the verdict?

I have the same camera and for it's price it's great, if you are running WinXP or Photoshop 7 you don't need the software that came with it , just plug the USB in and it will import the pictures for you, sweeet! of course if I had had more money I would have look at ones with 4.0 mega pixel photo resolution but sadly I didn't.

Depends on what you want it for. I found that 2.1 mp d.cams tend to be great for the web but if you want to print out the pictures then go for the 4 mp cam. However, I find that regular cams are still cool. Granted you'll need to scan the pics in to add flavour (ie. editing) to the pictures but the quality is unbeatable. Then, there is the price tag. :D

    Anyways, the decision is yours..

    Thanx for the replies

Looks like I'm going with the kodak. Price is a big issue & I can get it @ no deposit, 2 years interest free.

I have a Sony 2 megapixel. High resolution pictures are great for printing on my Lexmark Z55!
