I have a cheap 3dfx Voodoo PCI TV tuner card, but I really don't care for the software that came with it (causes a lot of problems). Does anyone know of any programs that would work for watching tv with this tuner?

If I remember correctly, there was Microsoft's webtv or something like it on Win98 or 95, but XP doesn't have that.

I'd like to try out WinTV but I'm a little confused. Can anyone tell me what I need to download to use the program with my tuner?

Once the Hauppauge driver go in they are impossible to remove...

If I install the newer viewer,,, Which I do'nt like,,, with it's drivers I can not use the older viewer which I like...
After doing a clean install of XP and installing the slightly older WDM and viewer it works...

    Be careful with the WDM...

yeah, what i'd recommend to Timeo27 is ask about, more specifically ask hauppauge if it will work, if you decide to go ahead and install create a system restore point before hand.

    but find out first :)
