    here's the scoop..

my roomates (brothers) were sharing a PC for a while.. we set up user profiles for each of them.. we recently got them set up with their own PCs.. I removed one of the guys accounts and want to get rid of all files etc.. he managed to encrypt a specific folder so I can't delete it or open it.. I started up in safemode as admin and tried that route but no go..

how can I change the rights or unlock this folder or whatever so I can get rid of it?

Should be able to do it by, reboting into safemode and then right click and and take ownership of the file.
