How can I remove Local Area Connection? I don't have one as I'm off the LAN now.
Right click it, and hit delete if possible. If not, then try disable. Then if you really want to remove it, you'll have to go into your MS Hardware device list (right click my computer, select properties, select hardware, select device manager), under network adapters, simply remove your network adapter (right click the adapter and click uninstall) and the LAN choice will be removed
I think windows installs the LAN option if you have a NIC (network interface card) installed, AFAIK.
Yeah the icon appears if you have a NIC. So if you haven't taken out the NIC, leave it be. It's supposed to be there.
Ok, thanks. I'll just leave it.
u cant just delete a lan card.
disable or remove it.
