Help me please.

I set up a small business network a few weeks ago for a local company &.....
1 of the PC's is a right little fu*****

If the PC in question isn't connected to the network hub, it boots fine. I had the damn thing on my bench for 3 days benchmarking and testing with various tools freeware/paid & all is well.

Now 30 mins after i reinstall it at the worksite, they call me back up and say its spazzing out again,
Basically it doesnt like booting up on a network & i have no idea why, just sits there and does sweet FA.

So if anyone out there has any ideas for me to fix this problem, please list below.

The PC in question is a duron 1200 with pc chips 810lmr all in 1 board, 20gb maxtor and 128mb sdram.

Maybe the NIC is funky? You can get all kinds of strange problems if it's something wrong with it and you start using it. Are all the cables OK at the site? Try running the computer on site but without the network cable.

I would try these things first. It probably has something to do with the NIC. I would also try to disable all network services on startup so that it doesn't try to access the NIC.
