Connecting 2 routers to make a WAN

can anyone tell me how to setup and connect 2 routers over the

internet one router is a Linksys wireless AP + Router version

BEFW11S4 and the other router is a SMC Barricade 7004BR

any input would be greatly appreciated

no they are at seperate locations and i just want to connect them since i have computers at both locations

I think you want to make a VPN (Virtual Private Network). I don't think you can just "connect" them.

Yeah, you need a VPN, unless you have a long Cat5e cable... How far away from each other are they?

the computers i want to connect to are 2 miles away
