Does anyone else have a blog or site with comments or feedback?

I'm using Chyrp with Defensio API key in place and still get about 10-20 spams for every comment. Wondering if I have to put in place a txtCaptcha to resolve the issue or if there is any other tool or tactic I can employ that is less likely to put off the genuine potential casual commentator, because we all have a human nature to be lazy when it comes to commenting!

yeah - I know I could be accused of thread spammage, but these should be three different topics...

Spam comes in floods and droughts, captchas are good in most situations these days. I've been using a spam filter on my blog which uses keywords and such. Once I'd trained it to the current level I've been able to be reasonably hands off. Course not blogging helps too :p

I never had much spam with akismet, but the fact I'd run out of stuff to say in a day or two probably contributed to that :p
