    if you have photoshop .....just make all your layers with it then move over to imageready .....decide on animation length(#frames)

    then its as simple as turning on or off the layers in each frame of the animation

    it would be much cooler if you add vertical lines like the old cinema movies.

    that would be very easy to do.... make your lines on 10 different layers make them a little ragged add some noise ....then its just a matter of placement

    if i have time today i'll make something quick to demo it ....but i have a pile of movies to watch ...just finished big trouble.....good for a laff :)
