Hey you guys, this is weird, i've had my Philips 1200 CDRW for around 2 years now, and it has never ever failed me, but now suddenly it's not working anymore, well, it is working, but when i burn a music cd, and put it in a cd player, it takes a long time for the first song to start, and when it does start, it's missing the beginning of the song, with one cd track continued playing, even after the first song ended, and it continued with track 2, still showing it as track one, second, it doesn't show the time, it just stays at 00:00, and with another cd, the tracks did work, but same starting problem, with the beginning missing, and the long startup time, and then half way it just skips to another song...this is really weird....i reinstalled nero, and i bought other cd's, but the problem remains....any help!?!?!?

If you are that desperate try a different burning program or download nero again, uninstall/reinstall with the new download. Might have got corrupted somehow. Tha't all I got. :(

with the prices of fast CDRW's today being so cheap i'd just buy a new one

the only thing that comes to mind is maybe the laser is outta alignment???

Let us know whether that format fixes the problem or not. :)
