cant improt outlook messages

how come i cant import messages from my old outlook express? i used outlook 5.. inside outlook express in xp.. there is no option to import files from that version... tried to use the outlook express program only.. and it wont read the extracted outlook express 5 files.. i also copied the old files to my desktop and tried to import from that file location.. still no success...is there any way for me to view old and saved messages using the new outlook in xp? or should i just downgrade outlook version? thnks

hi..thnks for the program..i am able to view the mails now!!! thnks.. question? is there a way for me to view them now in outlook express 6 inbox??
