can I e-mail a file folder?

    I was wondering if there is any way to e-mail a whole file folder at one time as an attachment
    Can anyone help?

    You would have to make it a zip file or something before you can. So, as long as it's not over the size limit your isp sets then you can do it ... Something else you have to look at also is that not all email clients allow you to send and recieve zip files. So make sure the person you are sending it to can recieve it also ..

    The way around the zip restriction is to change the filename extension.

    Instead of mystuff.zip rename it to mystuff.xxx

    This will fool most ISP and mail servers though some actuall open your file to examine the file type.

    Don't forget to tell the recipient to rename it before he opens it. Or you can just open a misnamed ZIP by using the right click menu to select open with winzip.
