I just finished upgrading my system and reinstalling the XP Pro and have started to get the dreaded BSOD at random times. Doesn't happen too frequently, maybe once every 2 hours at completely random times (no similar actions or programs running).
Here's the error message I caught:
STOP: 0x000000FA (0x00000001, 0x84AC4EA9, 0xA70350F0, 0x00000160)
HTTP.SYS - ADDRESS A70350F0 BASE AT A702C000, DATESTAMP 41672744
I tried googling it but didnt really come up with much useful. I found some blurb that indicated that 0x000000FA usually indicated a hardware problem most likely caused by drivers, but not absolutely so.
Anyone have any idea what the cause of my problem could be?
I've run MemTest for 3 passes and no errors come up and my CPU temps are at 25C. I'm at a loss for ideas and am ready to try reinstalling again.
Here's my system:
