BOOYESSS! 22 inches of monitor!

    I'm not sure if I have started a "OMGNEWHARDWARE" thread yet, so I'll just consider this my first.

    When your screen encompasses your vision all the way to your blind spots, it makes a huge difference in game/movie immersion. Plus I don't own a television, so it's partially out of necessity that I bought it.

    I have a sneaking feeling that a 20.1" LCD from DELL or ViewSonic would have .1" to 1.1" more viewing area and be somewhat lighter on the wallet and the back :D

    Either way looks like you got one of the best CRT's in existance and should serve you well for many many years :D

    I got it from a company that sells used monitors...$199 and free shipping. Not real big on the latest and greatest, really...my entire system is a delicate balance of thrift and power. The only monitor I've had break down on me is the only one I got new :D

    I got it from Azatek.com and it was almost 70lbs. I could chrush a small child with it.

    My 20" Viewsonic weighs a ton, I can't imagine what that NEC weighs!

    NEC are great monitors, mine weights 74 pounds. And crushing a small child is a good analogy, well it made me laugh atleast :)
